Thanks for the post. Is this the full movie (title says ‘part one’)?
They are release the movie in parts. Hoping to raise funds from people who like the first part and then release the 2nd and 3rd parts. Read more on the VODO link at the top..
Please don’t use these links if you have a good internet connection. I know that I sound like a stick in the mud (hurr durr don’t pirate), but the movie is released on torrents for a reason. Without good seeders, it will be slow and crappy which defies the entire point of releasing it P2P. Not saying to donate or anything, just seed.
Getting it on Torrent requires that you upload as much as you download. Downloading the movie is, so far, not against the law. But uploading, sharing copyrighted works, is against the law. This is what Hollywood has been busting people for.
Torrent and P2P were great before the lawyers got involved. Now, beware what you share.

anyways @cyan I wouldn’t bother with this, it isn’t like tv, next ep isn’t next week, its gonna take atleast 8-9 months for the next ep, don’t bother.
Next episode is out in a month and then part 3 a month after that. Torrents don’t require a 1:1 ratio, but its preferred…
Also, saying you have to ‘wait’ some months for part 2 to come out is the worse excuse ever for not watching something….

I visit OneDDL on a daily basis, and download regularly from RS and FSn, but this time I am downloading the torrent from VODO, because they are really trying to do something new and different and break the greedy studio system.
I also donated because I liked what I saw and want to see more, but I was glad even the creators themselves gave me the option to not pay if I didn’t care for it.
I hope people here will support the torrent because it will lead to better stuff for us and less shit from studios. And I don’t mean donate. Just use the torrent, so maybe we can throw a little wrench in the big corporate wheel.

No. This is a new release. Came out for download a couple of days ago. The plan is to release 1 part a month for 4 months and then release all eps, together to make a movie.
A Lonely Place For Dying is a completed project being released monthly. It was completed in January, 2011 but IMDb refuses to update the year because that was when the film was shot. It took a year to do visual effects; there are 350 visual effects shots in the film…all of which were completed by only two people.
The episodes will not be delayed like other projects because this is already finished. The purpose in donating is to prove that a motion picture can flip the distribution model; to release on the internet first and then go to theaters later.
